You could build your Blog by your own, and for the beginning, you could use this source as a starting point. You could get for free or you can chosee the other for a couple of buck,for example;

Blogger – A free blogging platform that is owned by Google. Blogger is great platform for beginners, it is absolutely free. You just join and make an account; they would show you the way, they would guide step by step. You could also choose the template, andyou get your blog.

WordPress – WordPress is free and easy to use. It is the most popular platform out there. With the hosted version of WordPress you get a subdomain with your name. I.E. (yourname.wordpress.com). The other think you should remember, if you use their hosted version, they not allow you to run ads as a tool that could make money from it. So if you want to make money from a blog, do not use the wordpress with their hosted.

Typepad – That would be Cost youfrom 5-15 dollar a month. It is also one of the more popular blogging platforms, and you need the hosted service.

Movabletype – Another Very popular blogging/publishing platform.

TextPattern – Blogging, Content Management, whatever you want to call it… Textpattern is another solution for it.

Vox – Vox is not only a free blogging platform, it is a community.It is another blogging platform that is great for beginners. My suggestion, you try it.

Live Journal – It’s a combination of blog and social networking. With Live Journal you can create a community around your blog. You can also make your blog private so only your friends can view it.

Shoutpost – Shoutpost is a quickly growing community of bloggers. It is also designed to be a social networking platform. One of the great things about Shoutpost is that it is completely ad-free.

Hosting Services

If you choose to go with a non-hosted blogging platform you are going to need a hosting company. The hosting company would take care all your file, it is like a server for you. If you want, you couldmake your server (taylor made) for your self,even it’sneeded some “know how” in the hosted bisnis;the quick one and oke, you could use the hosting services company to do it for you. The following are some hosting companies that offer Fantastico, a control panel plugin that allows you to quickly install software, and anything that could you need to build a blog and ofcourse, including most of the popular blogging platforms. From my experience I choose Host Gator, they are good in service, 24 hours and 7 days a week andcheap enough. In Indonesia there are many hosting companies too, the problem is the cavacity is to low, andsome time if our load is too hight, they just suspend our blog. So it is the bad moment and a very crucial moment, especially if you want to maintain your service. You can imagine how the perception of your’s reader when they know your blog already suspend. My suggestion is, try hostgator.

Set your blog, you can chosee the best theme and apart from the rest. Here are a few sites that you can download free themes to brighten up your blog. Most of the themes are designed for WordPress, which is one reason it is so popular, or WordPress.net – Choose from a variety of user uploaded themes. The other one is Alex King – Another great place to find themes. There are also Emily Robbins – Thousands of free WordPress themes to choose from. Blog Flux – Has a huge database of themes for many different blogging platforms, and Andrea Sviklund – Few themes for various blogging platforms. The point is you could build your theme that fit your need.

As you begin to blog, start simple since you do not want to announce that all of this is new to you. By simply beginning your blog,adding and take care to it daily, you are creating the foundation for a great, online marketing tool. As you are writing for your blog, remember to keep your content interesting, professional and strighly to the point.

If you become frustrated building your blog, keep it to yourself. You do not want to get in the habit of ranting on your blog.
